TERMS AND CONDITIONS: DIVE TRIPS

QUICK SUMMARY (The Important Stuff)

Trip Payments: Deposits are non-refundable. Final payments are due on specific dates; missing a deadline may result in cancellation.

Cancellations: If you cancel, refunds depend on how close it is to the departure date. Trip Insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment.

Passports: Your booking name must match your passport exactly. You are responsible for ensuring your documents are valid for travel.
1. BOOKING & PAYMENTS

The "Party Leader": The person making the booking is the "Party Leader." You are financially responsible for the entire reservation, including ensuring all group members pay their share on time.

Binding Agreement: By making a deposit, you (and everyone in your group) agree to these terms.

Payment Schedule: Trips often require progress payments (e.g., Deposit, 50% payment, Final Balance).

Please refer to your specific trip invoice for exact payment due dates.

Late Payments: Failure to pay on time may result in the forfeiture of your spot and any monies paid.

2. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
Standard cancellation fees apply to all trips unless otherwise noted on your specific trip flyer.

| 120+ Days Prior | Refund less administrative fees (and non-refundable deposits). |
| 90 - 119 Days Prior | Deposit is forfeited. Remaining balance fully refundable. |
| 60 - 89 Days Prior | 50% of Total Trip Cost is non-refundable. |
| Less than 60 Days | 100% Non-Refundable. No refunds for any reason. |

No-Shows: If you miss the boat/flight or arrive late, no refund will be issued.

Force Majeure: If Space Coast Dive Center must cancel a trip due to "Acts of God" (weather, pandemics, political unrest), we will facilitate refunds from our vendors (resorts/liveaboards) on your behalf. However, we are not liable for unrecoverable costs.
3. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS & ACCURACY

Check Your Invoice: When you receive your booking confirmation, check it immediately. You must notify us of any errors (wrong dates, misspelled names) within 24 hours.

Passports: It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport (and visa, if required).

Name Matching: The name on your booking must match your passport exactly. Airlines may deny boarding if there is a mismatch, and Space Coast Dive Center is not liable for these costs.

4. INSURANCE & LIABILITY

Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive Trip Cancellation & Interruption Insurance (e.g., DAN, DiveAssure, World Nomad). This protects you if you must cancel due to illness (including COVID-19), injury, or family emergencies.

Dive Accident Insurance: For all diving activities, dive accident insurance (such as DAN) is highly recommended.

Liability: Space Coast Dive Center acts as a booking agent for third-party operators (resorts, charters). We are not responsible for their acts, omissions, or equipment failures.
5. CLAIMS & COMPLAINTS

On-Trip Issues: If you have a problem during your trip, please notify the trip leader or resort management immediately so we can try to resolve it.

Formal Claims: Any legal or refund claims must be submitted to us in writing no later than 14 days after your return. Claims received after this period are deemed waived.
6. GOVERNING LAW
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal disputes shall be settled in the jurisdiction of Palm Bay, Brevard County, Florida.
