Why We Plan Dive Trips 2 Years in Advance (And Why You Should Too)

Let’s be honest. Most of us don’t know what we’re having for dinner next Tuesday, let alone where we want to be in August of 2027.

But in the scuba world? If you aren’t planning two years ahead, you’re probably going to be stuck diving in a bathtub. (Okay, slightly dramatic, but you get the point).

Here at Space Coast Dive Center, we just dropped our "Save the Dates" for Roatan and The Philippines in 2027, and I can already hear some of you asking, "Lori, really? 2027?"

Yes, really. And here is why:

1. ** The Best Boats Book Fast:** You know those amazing liveaboards with the hot towels and the chefs? They are booked solid years out. We grab the spots early so you don't have to fight for them.

2. Budgeting is Easier: Paying for a dream trip over 24 months feels a lot like buying a fancy coffee once a week. Paying for it all at once feels like... well, a heart attack.
