Michael Hutson PADI IDC Staff Instructor/Shop Staff

Michael started diving in 1991 while still in high school. After a 20- year career as an Army helicopter pilot, Mike traded his flight suit for a wetsuit in 2018 to enjoy retirement and continue his scuba education. Mike and his wife, Tracy both pursued the Dive Professional route while living on ST Croix, US Virgin Islands, and working at a world-class dive shop on the island. Mike has over 1100 dives in roughly 11 countries including the Middle East, Asia, Central America and the Caribbean. Mike loves teaching students and sharing his passion for the underwater world.
